The pre-registration period has closed, but you can still register onsite at any of the stops located along the way. Once you arrive, just head over to the ATHS Daily Show Booth around 11:00 a.m. and talk to any of the individuals staffing the booth.

Beginning September 6, 2012, in Morris, IL, the inaugural ATHS event of the Historic Highway Convoy will begin to Motor West on Route 66. In conjunction with Travel Centers of America, daily truck shows will be held at TA and Petro truck stops at each of the 10 locations (locations listed on information available to download below). Each show will begin at 11 a.m. with trucks from local ATHS members, an ATHS booth display, and booth displays by the Prime Movers and Heavy Hauler sponsors. The convoy will make its final stop on September 15, 2012, in San Bernardino, CA.
Convoy trucks are to arrive at the show site no later than 4 p.m. each day for participant roll call to qualify for an exclusive convoy keepsake available only to those who complete the entire route from Morris, IL to San Bernardino, CA. Upon arrival in San Bernardino, CA, convoy trucks will join the ATHS Southern California Chapter’s show trucks in the Route 66 Rendezvous held each year!
The $100 per truck/driver participation price includes a Convoy hat, Convoy shirt, commemorative chock block, daily check in card, and a route guide that includes maps and notes of the route. Each participant will make his or her own overnight accommodation arrangements, and eating arrangements. Convoy and show requirements include proof of insurance on each participating vehicle and a working fire extinguisher on board each vehicle. It is strongly recommended that trailers not be pulled on the convoy due to tight turns and narrow roads found along several of the route options. Pulling a trailer in these conditions can be hazardous. Participants can travel individually, or in small groups as they progress from location to location, allowing everyone to choose the route of their choice at their own pace. Just remember to arrive by 4:00 p.m. at the next stop for check-in.
